One side is semi-rigid polystyrene in multiple layers (PS-EvOH-PE or PP-EvOH-PP); the other side, standard printing film. The semi-rigid side has a notch approximately 200 microns wide on the outside and one approximately 300 microns wide on the inside. Making these notches the appropriate length allows the user to squeeze out any liquid product simply by folding the sachet in the center.
